AMEYA AQUACULTURE: PIONEERING SUSTAINABLE FISH FARMING IN CENTRAL INDIA

Ameya Aquaculture, a distinguished vertical of AMSPL, is a leading name in freshwater aquaculture across central India. With operations based in Nagpur, Amravati and Bor Dam Wardha, we have been consistently producing premium-quality Pangasius, Tilapia, Indian major carps and prawns since 2021. Our commitment to excellence has driven our growth from an initial annual yield of 250 tons to a targeted 1,000 tons, achieved through innovative cage culture, pond farming and dam farming ventures.

As a proud contributor to the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiative, we are dedicated to bridging the gap between traditional farming and modern technology. We conduct specialized workshops and seminars, equipping local farmers with the latest resources and techniques. Our proactive approach has earned us recognition and collaboration from both state and central government departments.

Our success is built upon a highly efficient team and the invaluable expertise of our partners at the Fish Farmers' Technical Team (FAITT) and Luminis. Together, we provide comprehensive solutions, including water and soil testing, farm installations, and the integration of solar systems. Our operational philosophy is centered on utilizing precision monitoring and high-level instruments for water and fish health, ensuring our produce is of the highest quality while maintaining competitive pricing for a wider consumer base.

Looking ahead, Ameya Aquaculture is poised to address India’s significant demand-supply gap for fresh fish at customers door . Our future plans include the development of a state- of-the-art, 15-acre Aqua Technology Park in Wardha. This ambitious project, which will include a fish cold storage plant, a fish feed mill, a hatchery, and advanced RAS and Biofloc systems, is designed to not only produce premium fish but also to create substantial employment opportunities within the region.

Vision 2047

"Vision 2047" for aquaculture, particularly in India, refers to strategies under the national "Viksit Bharat @2047" plan to achieve significant growth and sustainability in the sector by that year. Key goals include boosting annual fish production to 400 lakh tons, enhancing global exports, empowering small and marginal farmers through accessible digital technologies like AI and IoT, promoting eco-friendly and climate-resilient practices, and developing the blue economy. Initiatives like artificial reefs, integrated aqua parks, and hatchery expansion are in progress to build this robust future.
